It was a sunny sunday

I was happy 

and everyone else was too

but that was all about to change

we were up against a good team

we could beat them

everyone knew

they had one good players

the rest were nubes

the game was pretty close

we were the better team however

but you know what they say

never say never

At about the 10 minute mark

we scored a goal

off of a beautiful long ball

Then at the 15 minute mark

we scored another

this one was tricky

the other team complained

that it was offside

but the only reason we scored

was because their goalie was icky

but the game had switched tables

we went up to much

and left space in defense

they countered us

from our corner

and just like that 

we had a war

the first half ended

with us up 2 to 1

but the war had just begun

the second half was rough

but the other team as tough

they attacked and we defended

but that doesn't matter

let's get to how it ended

The ref was blind

I can see

because the game ended clearly

eveeryone else could see it too

except the referee

the game ended eventualy

that's a relief

we were heroes at the end of the day

but when I look at it again

it was just another sunday
