A land of the free
    or so it seemed
Liberty for all
    unless you fall
Democracy
    fuels our supremacy .

We were the first
    to proclaim
We* the people
            but few saw the asterix.
*We the rich and powerful
We the white , normal men
We are the people, who dictate
what freedom really means

A land of the free
    as long as you’re like me
If you aren’t
good luck finding that “liberty for all”.
Glorious Democracy
    built on the backs of the voiceless.

Basking in the sun,
while forcing others to work at the point of a gun
But let’s not forget, we are all Americans.

We are the nations of Immigrants
but of course I like it all separate.
No mixing with those less worthy than I,
I mean I cannot see color, but still
Get away from Me!

The land for free,
    I mean why bother asking for territory?
Natives they’re not like us
    so why should We bother giving them our trust.

And, let’s just forget about the poor
    who burned to the floor
        in factories owned by Industrial kings
And why even mention
    that women weren’t considered worthy of the government’s attention.
Slavery,
    nah that never happened (So stop complaining!)
and destroying an entire population
    well they were an blocking  our manifest destiny.

Our land for ourselves,
it’s mine and mine alone.
I will not share, mine, mine, mine!!!

The land of the free,
    or so it seems
Liberty for all
    until you look around the wall
The United States is flawed like everyone else
Don’t forget our ancestors mistakes,
open your eyes and fix,
that’s what it will take
To be become
The Land of the Free
         with Liberty really for All.
