I have learned

I have learned many things.
From many different people,
old and young,
from sisters and cousins,
teammates and grandparents,
from parents and friends.
from my parents I have learned,
my sense of humor,
and how to be a good person.
from my sisters and cousins I have learned,
how to be happy and always have fun.
from my grandparents I have learned,
how to be kind and generous.
from my teammates I have learned,
to be a friend,
you don’t need glory,
to always put others first,
and pick people up.
I have learned.
