I am from the tulips, the trees
I am from the road trips and Christians
From mom and dad
I am from the know it all’s and pleasant people
From the LORD and loud people
I am from the catholic community
Hail Mary’s and Come Holy Spirits
I am from the turns and hills
Corn and cabbage
From grandma at St. Vincent de Paul
The giving to others
Servers at mass
I am from the mantel at the front door
Lots of pictures and statues
I am from those events
That makes up where I’m from.
