Dreams
Dreams, that's where I come from
You and I have them.
It sparks ambition, intuition
and it's our primary mission.
Like a bird a dream can soar
Like a lion a dream can roar
All it wants to do is be free
take shape, have form, and bring meaning to me
Like tree a dream has roots that grow
Deep in your heart it makes blood flow
From rolling hills, to clear blue skies
to flourishing forests, and the sight of our eyes
Writing letters and numbers from a wooden pencil
Oh, why can’t dreams make life so simple.
Take hold of your dreams and let them fly
Explore them and live them until they die.
For when they die have new hope
cause dreams don’t just wash away with soap
When letting someone write your dream
You’ll end up lost just like me
Meandering from dream to dream, seeking answers
Making sacrifices that didn’t even matter
Trying to find the key to the door we call life
I leave you with a message,
“Find your light.”
