The Gatekeeper
The emotional sentiment of an object,
lies not in the eyes,
but the heart,
of the beholder.
An object is often overlooked and forgotten,
dissi p a t i n g from the minds of many,
along with the meaning behind it.
The object I so highly regard is,
in my mind,
unique,
in the sense that its job cannot be done
without working in tandem with its counterpart.
It acts as a key, an initiator,
to emotional freedom and expression.
You are subject to the conversion of human feeling and emotion,
into the warmness of music through the strings it plucks.
It is the gatekeeper to my well-being,
It is my guitar pick.
