a universe of questions flood through my mind,
as I pace the floor boards that hold my thoughts
trying to fit together the pieces of this puzzle.

Some too big, too small, too misshapen,

working to find their place among the other pieces,
but never seeming to have the “right fit”.

Frustration and confusion, feeling stagnant
in a world that moves at a constant pace.

An endless routine of repetitive behaviors and actions,
but when does it all come to a tranquil relief?
When will i learn to decipher this puzzle,
and find my place in the pattern.

These questions
bottled within my thought stay buried in the
corners of my mind.

Coming up for air when life gets tough
and escaping through pushed back tears that
seem to come at the worst times.

One day I hope,
I can find a way to look past the unwanted tears
and realize

that the puzzle has been finished all along.
