i'm from...
I’m from a home
where it’s crazy and
loud but
the family is loving and crazy
I’m from
a city where something
is always happening and
something exciting is
always going on
I’m from a band
That’s also loud and crazy
but accepts you
like family
And last but
not least
I’m from a state where
people call it the
“mitten”
where the weather
is bipolar
one day we’ll have a
hot day and the next
a cold one
but if you asked me
if I wanted to live
somewhere else
I’d simply say
“no.”
why?
because I wouldn’t want to
live anywhere else.
