When Time Kills The Memo
I tell you I don't care,
but I DON'T mean it.
You make me pull out my hair
when things get inconvenient.
The only thing I can do is call you "Boo,"
but it is nothing to you,
just something or someone trying to get to you-
so I say nothing.
While silence kills the memo,
the first thing that comes to my mind is your smile.
While you sit there staring at the tiles,
I try to open your mind by talking about the trials-
trials but no tribulations.
So as long as you think I don't care,
I prepare,
I prepare for the time that silence kills the memo.
