mommy's poem
Strong and fair you stand tall
Arms wide wide open
Ready to take away all pain
You’re quiet and listen
And you’re firm with your answers
You’re careful and considerate
To say the right thing
You never judge or make harsh remarks.
When I need you the most you are there
You challenge my ideas in a good way
And always taught me to reach for
The stars.
You’ve given me the boost
I need when I need it the most
You always know how to cheer me up
You taught me to be fair and confident
With whatever I may choose to do
You made me learn that determination
Is the only way to go.
You’ve inspired me to want
More and to challenge myself at every shot I can
Hope is the thing with feathers and you are hope,
My support group, my motivation, my influence,
And most importantly my mom.
