Cancer has a way
                To make everyone
                Feel hopeless
                There are few people however
                Who will let the idea of cancer
                Give them motivation

                When they want to give up the
                Most is when they find the courage to
                Stand up and fight
                When my mom brought up the
                Fact she had been diagnosed with cancer
                My heart broke.

I was so scared
                I had no idea what to do. I wanted to help
                But only being a 5th grader I didn’t know how
              I had to act a lot older then my age I knew I had
To be there for her to help both of us
                Get through it. I know my mom and she is strong
                And turned out to be hope she had hope and
                She stayed strong. She fought through and now
                She is cancer free.
