I realize that this is a world where anything
is possible, I understand 
also that one often has to make do

no not one bit
divorced parents, stepdad,
and stepkids

emotions are full of passion
confusion with sadness too.
I just want more control
but instead I must trust
in someone who is BIGGER than me

He has ideas for my life that
I can’t comprehend
I’m patient, I wait
I work with what I’ve got
and do my best to make my mom happy

Dad and I are best of friends
I only wish I saw him more.
with anything possible in this world
deep in my heart
hope lives that

one day my parents will be reunited.
I try to forget the thought
but it’s something deep
in your heart that all kids
wish for

that their parents would be together again.
