Auxiliary
It’s like listening to Southern University’s Band Play “Dangerously in Love”.
It’s that rush you get when you do that toe- touch.
When you’re on the field with your sisters,
There’s no feeling like it.
It seems like everything comes to life right after we step, drop-kick.
Auxiliary,
We’re the “Face of the Band.”
The girls everyone wants to be like.
We’re the ones always smiling, turning everyone’s head.
From every walk to copy-cat to routine,
To field show, to parade,
You’ll never catch us not showing out.
Our hearts are on that field.
The beat of the drum,
The tempo of the tubas.
Each Note,
Give us more energy each time.
We feel unstoppable.
Auxiliary,
We’re sisters.
You can’t get any better than us.
