where is she
“Where is she?
I wondered when she wasn’t there.”
That person I ASPIRED to be.
That person I was.
That person that could brighten anything with just a simple smile.
That person with eyes like a early morning sky and a mind like a midnights sky of constellations.
The REAL me, is missing.
She could be anywhere, good or bad.
She could be in a dreamland, full of happiness and no worries.
She could be not.
It could be worse.
She could be somewhere sad, secluded and soulless, sobbing because the loneliness is too much.
She could be burning from inside, with a need to get back to ME.
The I that I am now.
She could be chained up, barely breathing because the I that I am today,
Just doesn’t care,
But the real me wouldn’t, she wouldn’t lie there and be burned out.
The she I was would fight to get back to the norm.
The norm in which I’ve built for myself.
For the she I used to be has disappeared,
And I, the I am today,
The she
the ME
must find her, the she I used to be, so where is she?
