Can you feel the rain, I wonder?
It patters on your skin,
Can you hear the roaring thunder?
It fills the skies again
Do you know that pain has torn you?
Inside your hurting heart?
Can you feel the slain one morning
As you smile in the dark?
Why do you dance in the rain?
Why’s the water on your skin?
Don’t you hear the thunder, I wonder?
See, where the dead one lays,
You’re dancing in the rain,
You’re forgetting all the stains,
You’re letting go of pain,
Ready to live again
