Its been a whole year that I have devoted to you
Now I sit here feeling Oh so blue
Who was there through... the bad times
The days when you didnt have dimes
I was there
When you barely had clothes to wear
Giving you TLC
And this how you repay me
With no respect , no love
You told me that I would always be above
These other hoes... but I'm second in life
You telling me you want me to be your wife
Is it true?
Should I believe you?
You have my heart
But all you are doing is tearing it apart
Telling me wait for you
That's what you want me to do
I'm devoted like no other
I love you more than your own mother
Show you the way a MAN should be loved
I never put anybody above..YOU
Only because I'm so in LOVE with you

In writing this piece I realized that I've been a better friend than some people's mothers saying blood is not thicker than water. I hav friends who are more like family than my own family but , The person i wrote this about didnt understand I was giving him my all but wasnt even phased.
