birdha
she stays awake,
till six.
because at six,
the city is just about to wake up,
but it’s still not ready to.
and she can relate to this,
because she is just about to go to sleep,
but is not ready to let go
of the whisper of the sun,
the warmth of her thoughts,
and the dull vibration of birds
chirping from outside her window
telling her that letting go is an endless
inevitable
cycle.
