I am a note struggling desperately to ring out beautifully against the swirling sound of the symphony.
I wonder what awaits me in the future to come.
I hear the buzz of my never quiet thoughts
I see judgmental stares and disapproving eyes.
I want to change how the world views differences.
I am a note struggling desperately to ring out beautifully against the swirling sound of the symphony.
I pretend I have it all figured out.
I feel pressure to always know what to do.
I touch the lives of the ones who have heard me.
I worry that I will never be inspiring.
I cry when I know my best intentions have failed.
I am a note struggling desperately to ring out beautifully against the swirling sound of the symphony.
I understand that we all have our darkness.
I say one day we will all understand.
I dream that one day my mind will be tranquil.
I try to spare the feelings of the ones I love.
I hope someday I’ll make a difference.
I am a note struggling desperately to ring out beautifully against the swirling sound of the symphony.
