Unscathed
Radiation of a dark vibe,
Threatening to permanently extinguish my fire
People may throw rocks at things that shine,
But this may forever dim my light
Gravitational pull,
It doesn’t see that I’m just a girl
Strange,
Foreign,
Alien
Dragging me down,
Down,
Down
Someone get me out
She tried
Her arms around you,
You were fine
But you can’t be with her all the time
One day, you’ll emerge from the flame
And be able to see things without the cloud of pain
The curtain that’s wrapped so tightly around you will lose its weight
The fog that lives inside you will disappear without a trace
You’ll leave feeling strong, beautiful, and capable of handling anything
Because you’ve walked away from a battle unscathed
