I Am God
Who is God and who am I?
Will I know before I die?
How do I know I'm not God?
Do I control my own fate
And the fate of those around me,
As they live their lives so comfortably?
If I am God, it makes perfect sense.
For, I know the troubles of a million men.
If I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.
I am the Lord.
The Lord of my life, the Lord of my soul.
That's the only thing that keeps me whole.
So many questions, so little time.
Where do I get all the answers to mine?
They say trust in God,
But I trust in no one.
Not Jesus Christ or the God of the Sun.
I am God, and God is me.
I control my own destiny.
