A scar can fade; but not faster than it appears.
A heart can mend; but not faster than it fell in love.
An apology said; but not faster than the reason behind it.
A lake can dry; but not faster than it was made.
A trust can be formed; but not faster than it can break.
A promise is made; but not faster than it is broken.
The sun can rise; but not faster than it sets.
They say life goes by fast; but I think death goes by faster.
Life can be made great; but a single act can end the race.
