Finding Me
I am a Girl of 18
I am a Girl that sleeps with a night light
It's the shinning of my stuffed lambs eyes
I am a Girl of a small town, who dreams of city life
But would miss having only one traffic light
I am a Girl who loves the 80's; the music, the movies and stars
Though I still know a few Nicki Minaj bars
I am the Girl who adores Princess Diana,
But the thought of being a princess is that of a child
I am a hopeless romantic, but can endure heartbreak's sting
It's what romance novels are for
I am a lover of Monroe and Hepburn
Though I would give anything to have a man look at me that way
I am a girl that's excited to leave
But terrified to go
I am the one of hopes and dreams
Though i'm spinning on an ever changing road
I am the one on an endless quest
I am the one Finding Me
