Pain Never Lasts
Pain is ment to be felt,
but feelings are meant to change.
That knife in your back has sat there for so long
that your skin has healed around the blade.
Yet you still complain about the rusty dagger in your spine.
Why do you refuse to remove it?
Have you forgotten that doctors exist?
Pain is meant to be felt.
Not to kill you; but to remind you that pain never lasts.
