Maybe
Have you ever stopped to think…
Maybe your jokes aren’t funny,
That her smile isn’t always real,
Can’t you see how you made her feel?
Maybe she’s just overreacting,
Maybe she’s just going through a phase,
But have you ever stopped to think…
What if your actions pushed her over the brink?
What if she wrote all the secrets she wanted to spill,
Before she took her last breath and swallowed a pill?
Maybe she’s tired of being treated like dirt,
Maybe she’s sick of telling you secrets she knows you will blurt.
You knew she was already in a lot of pain,
So what was the point of playing this game?
Did you ever think about the hurt you caused?
What would happen if you paused?
Did you ever stop to consider her feelings?
Instead of rolling your eyes and looking to the ceilings?
Maybe the things you did wasn’t meant to offend,
If stopped and listened, then maybe, you would still have your friend.

I think that you need to think about how you acta and what you say before you do it... it could truely be the difference between life and death.
