A sharp, jagged piece of silver metal,
Cuts through the top, thin layer of epidermis.
A warm, thick liquid seeps through.
With every drop of blood that drips out,
One of my doubts and insecurites goes
with it.
I feel better.
I feel content.
I am OK.
