My Discovery:6/6/2014
I love you
No amount of clichés can describe how I feel
Out of all the hollow rocks I have picked up along my way
I am fortunate to have discovered you
You are not a diamond
Those are too often found
You are not gold
That would be still be too common
Maybe you are a meteor
At least you came into my life like one
Your own planet possibly
Something entirely of its own
Truth is, no stone can describe you
Neither can a star
Nor could a planet
You are too unique
My own personal discovery
That I will keep to myself
This day
And all the rest to come

This piece was inspired by the day I decided to ask my long time bestfriend to be my girlfriend. It's attempt to express what I felt when I decided to take a chance on her, and the happiness she brings me.
