bent 

(but kind of broken)

bruised 

(but not yet bleeding)

i'm holding on

to what is left

and hiding,

barely

breathing.

don't dare move

your leaden lips

to ask if i'm okay;

when i'm weak

and 

c r u m b l i n g

just turn

and walk

away.
