They sneak out
They mark the city
They deceive everyone around them
But for what
Why do they carry on in such a manner
Why would they submit themselves to punishment and reprimands
Why do they up rise
They sneak out to find themselves
They mark the city to be heard by those whom otherwise wouldn’t spare a mere glace towards them
They don’t hold their honesty under lock and key like the rest of us
They share what is on their minds
They want to illuminate the secrets of the world
They are curios of all our self-induced complications
They demand the earth’s voice be heard
They desire that nothing is behind closed doors
They yearn for the day that nothing impedes their search for answers
So perhaps they aren’t riotous
Perhaps we are to blame
After all we are the ones with such numerous untold tales
We are the problem
They are the resolution
