Once you go black you never go back
Darkness awn
Storms before rainbows
Pain before death..
I guess everything has a bad beginning
I’ve heard the saying
“sometimes
you gotta walk through the darkness
to get through the light.”..
“Sometimes
you gotta go through the wrong things
to get to the right”
But if that’s so ..
Where’s the light?
There used to be light
but it rapidly faded
Now I’m in darkness,
my life is pitch black
Black like Black Birds
Black like roadways..
In simpler words,
Black like black holes..
You know the phrase,
“once you go black you never go back.”..?
Well, here I am..
In this black world
, Minding my own black business
It’s been like this for a while now
A few months or so
Is it true?
I really can never go back?
Living in this lonely, black world is the same as living in
hell I would say
Well when one goes to hell they never come back so..
I suppose it’s true..
Once you go black you never go back.
But there’s this little speck of white
just the smallest piece
It shows that my soul is not completely cursed,
thank the lord for that
But the day will come..
Oh yes, It will come..
the day when that little speck
of happiness
gets cursed
as well.

At hard times in my life I've always heard people tell me that things would get better but I always doubted that anything would actually get better so I wrote this poem to express the feelings that I have during the not so easy times in life when it seems like all else fails.
