Waiting for the night

She always longed for the light of the night,
For the moon and the stars.
For they were always there in the light and the dark,
Lighting the world when the sun would fail to shine.
What are small clumps of energy to others are much more to her.
To her they are the reason to find the light,
Even when it ceases to shine
To her the moon and the stars are the light that brightens up even the darkest of times.
