Had I the voice of an Amazon,
or the comforting tone of a Canary,
I’d confess to the praise of a woman--
A woman gracious and wonderful,
A woman hardworking and inspiring,
A woman special and precious.

In harmonious song I’d utter,
Her deeds so righteous and devoted,
Her qualities so elegant and touching,
Until the end of song,
Until the very depths of space would listen.

I know the guardians would answer,
I know the doves would answer,
I know the lambs would answer,
and together we would all chant clear and near,
loud and far,
Of a Grandma’s love and heart, forever and ever.

My process was one of great thinking. I had to, I wanted to honor my Great-Grandma who is deceased, by leaving the reader knowing who, what they were, and what I experienced with them. For this reason, I precisely chose my words such that they are accurately represent my thoughts towards the subject. I also wrote about how I felt, in regards to my grandma's qualities. Only through all of these methods, strategies, did I actually signify and leave a lasting effect on my readers. And, now, it is time for you to do the same.
