I'm Sorry
I'm Sorry
By: Madison Elliott
I am sorry
For what I did,
It was not very
Humble of me.
I wish I could take it back,
But I can't.
So take this token
Of my apology,
a white flower.

I made this piece for a creative writing class when we did our poetry unit. My teacher liked this poem and said it reminded him of William Carlos Williams, so I decided to see if other people would say the same thing. I like flowers, so when i needed to choose a symbol, a white flower seemed perfect. It symbolizes purity and it seemed like a good choice for the poem.
