I declare this victory for...
This is for the real princess in her concrete tower.
For little girl who were told one thing only to learn she was wrong. Everyone was wrong.
The girl who learned they had more freedom beyond their stone cold walls. The girl who didn't know freedom existed.
The girl who learned they had right to her own happiness too. It's not just the queens written in her fairytales.
The small world she lived in expanded a hundred-fold and it's scariest thing she's ever faced in her entire life.
Nothing is more terrifying than leaving home.
Leaving comfort. Leaving all you've ever known.
But it's where her life will begin.
It's the day she's won not just the battle, but the war.
That little girl has become a beautiful young woman.
And now it's time for her to revel in her victory.

I have been on a huge Disney rerun marathon for a few days to keep me from getting too stressed with finals. It's kinda led to me sleeping rarely if ever and I mess up with my parents a lot, but the movies help remind me that one day I'll be free to do whatever I want- not just what people tell me to do (which will always be existent, but not weigh down as hard on me as it does now).
