The Nothing

People don’t always have
to speak, to hurt
someone else with words.
Words that have been spoken
compliments,
can hurt when they
are no longer being heard.
Watching someone,
whom you love,
fall in love with another person
hurts.
Especially if they say nothing.
Especially if they pretend that nothing is wrong.
Especially if they just flat out ignore you.
So,
the nothing
can be more painful than
the something.
