It has been one year to this day
I miss you more than words could ever express
This month is one I will always dread
I wonder where you would be
I wonder if you would have quit yet
I wonder if you would have fought back
How many more tattoos would you have?
Would you have found your place?
It took losing you to come together
Funny how that works
I bet you would laugh at how dumb we are
Shake your head at how we could not figure it out
For the single thing you wanted the most
Is the one thing you never got to see
