Superhero
In my opinion, every kid has a superhero
For generations, kids have grown up on Spiderman, Batman, Superman,
But in my opinion, I have a different kind of superhero.
Superheroes are “lifesavers”
Someone you can count on
Someone who cares
Who will stick beside you
Through thick and thin.
Superheroes can teach you a thing or two about living.
Some superheroes have amazing powers
They'll teach you how to fly, and give you your wings.
Some can become invisible, but reappear in moments of worry
Some can breathe underwater, and bring you back to land safely.
Its hard to know who to call when you're stranded at sea,
thinking you're all alone,
but you're not.
My superhero stands beside me, through the toughest moments.
My superhero's name,
is Mom.
