Hong Kong Colours
The arduous journey of an artist.
Starting from the viridian New Territories,
Experiencing the tantalising breeze
The bronze Giant Buddha sparkling in the sunlight,
Rolling verdant hills sloping to the coast below.
Watching the busy cerulean Victoria Harbour,
Reflected sun rays dancing on the azure water surface.
Entering the pewter grey Central,
The towering graphite buildings casting charcoal shadows.
Sitting in the saffron Stanley Beach,
Feeling the golden sand running between his fingers.
Gazing at the traditional teak wood junk ships,
A vermillion flag waving in the breeze.
The artist sits back ruminating,
Making the difficult choice of what colours to use.
