Falling Back
I have often thought
That the idea of being
Absolutely at ease
With someone is beautiful
Complete trust of another soul
The ability to think out loud to them
Just a natural flow
Of words and actions
No boundaries
Often uncertainly and reclusiveness
Surfaces with someone new
But every so often
Someone will provoke ease into you
Their mind is home
Completely diving into
A sea of assurance
And knowing you won't drown
Falling down
A sky of promise
And knowing you won't plummet
Entwined with another mind
So alike yet so diverse
But somehow
It works so flawlessly

This poem was inspired by relationships with people and the almost magical sensation of being so connected and comfortable with someone.
