I was/wasn't
I wasn't supposed to get distracted. I was to be successful. I wasn't supposed to hang around the wrong people. I was supposed to make smart choices. I wasn't supposed to let my feelings overwhelm me. I was supposed to be able to handle it all. I wasn't supposed to fail. I was supposed to graduate from high school.

I wrote this because I just recently finished my first year of high school. I'm not going to lie, it wasn't easy. I surprised myself by being able to do it. This is the kind of thing that I think that I would've thought of if I chose to not try.
