Dystopian Daydreams
A scream in the dark, a cry in the night
Only to be repressed and silenced
This society was born in shackles
That most believed were freedom
An idea engraved into enslaved minds
“You belong in the shadows, for the shadows will remain safe,”
The tainted night would only leave them longing for power
Patience lead to insurgence, and a war of wisdom
The dark has vanished, the shadows died
An obtuse idea brings a new sun.
