They Run
On the sidewalk
they run.
One leg in front of the other
over and over.
Faster than I could ever be passing those who are
slower and weaker than them.
Not doing anything else
all they do is run.
Outside in the col air
they run.
Past cars and peope walking
they run.
Past children and dogs
they run.
This is what they like.
This is their passion.
This is why they're training.
They love to run.
