My Love Is Like A Star
I wish to be the stars.
They flirt with the sky, bursting through layers of the atmosphere
to flaunt their perfection.
I wish to be like the stars,
thousands of companions and never alone
in the fierce waste of dark.
I wish to be loved like the stars,
not many are to hate the little fairies in the sky.
They carry the silver platter of hope,
they are the jewels of the sky,
the treasured ones.
I wish to look like the stars,
an infatuation with embedding perfection in my veins.
I wish to look like the stars,
beautiful, majestic.
I wish to be a star,
the ability to be loved and
the ability to see everything.
I wish to grow like a star,
a million years of learning,
only to explode into an unfathomable
mass of pretty stardust.
I wish to be everything a star is and I am not,
I wish to be looked upon as perfect,
I wish to be loved for eternity,
my family forever next to me.
I wish to be a star,
loved now, and forever.
