A warm place
An old disgrace
A dark post-war zone
from full of life to piles of bones
The self-destructive walls,
the musk, quiet calls.
How a vacant room
creates eternal doom
Lost in the mountains of rubble
distant calls of obvious trouble
The brisk visible breath
turned into a miserable death
A grieving soul of regret
a lifetime of heavy debt
For this man was lost
and his life was the cost
