Tell me the Story
Sing in me Muse, and through me tell the story of a girl skilled
in all the ways in many sports. Basketball, volleyball, and softball.
How she experiences the ups and downs of her first varsity basketball
season.
She saw the court and learned the minds of many athletic girls,
and weathered many brutal games and practices to push her skills
to the best potential and bring her team mates to victory. But.
not only by skill and work could she bring her team to a win,
for their laziness destroyed them all-- Coaches and reffs, they
yelled and pushed the team as they sat back enjoying the scene
in front of them. They looked at the heavens waiting for their
victory.
Of these adventures, Muse, Daughter of Zues, tell us in our time,
lift the great song again. Begin when all the teams in the league
started to give up and lose faith in the mighty hounds.
The girls, players of basketball never lost faith. That is when
Determined minded Taylor began to work. The green eyed young woman
spoke maturely to her team mates. Orders given, Inspiration flooded
their ears from her loud mouth. With sweat and tears the hounds pushed
on. Aiming for the one shot at CIF.
After weeks of let down and sorrow from fans, family, and coaches,
the hounds made it. Taylor, daughter of Robert brought her team
to a much earned victory.
