Life in a Jar
Life
Summer is the source of life. It is warm and full of laughter. There never seems to be a dull moment. All the cracks are filled with happiness and love. But ever since summer’s end all that has slipped away. Our time consists of waiting for something exciting to happen, going through the motions, then waiting for the next. All the genuine happiness of life has seemed to fade away. It’s as if it was stored in a jar only to be pulled out for the summer. A jar of light sitting just out of reach. Leaving us yearning for its contents. I wish for summer, so I can claim my jar once more.
