The sound of cars driving along the bumpy road, not far from where I am, brings me comfort. It's a sound I've always known.  The brown-grassed hills, not far from that bumpy road, scattered with homes. A light haze floats on this hill, giving an eerie feeling, and the geese are chattering overhead, for it is below the freezing temperature. There is a tree directly to my right, one I never gave a second-glance at because it's skinny and not very tall; however, it caught my eye as I was looking around at the scenery because of its beautiful black-cherry colored, frosted-over berries. The wind has decided not to show today, and the sky is painted blueish-gray like it could release the cold, white snowflakes I know are nestled above. The sun isn't warming the air either, because not only is it setting, but the sky is much too thick from the clouds that are waiting to drop their snowflakes that it can't be seen... and taking a deep breath feels like breathing for the first time because the air is clean, chilled, and pure.
