Dancing on Air Happy
I hope someday this person
Comes along
Not on Shadowfax prancing
Not a princeling pretending
Not a perfect checklist score
And not even Captain Hook
(He’s taken, sadly enough)
But just this one perfect know-it-all,
Who adores me for being one too,
Likes the way I read,
And loves the way I love.
Brings me a bouquet previously promised
that are in fact,
Books with titles of flower names.
A person with whom
I venture through the greatest story
I’ll ever pen;
the story that shall be mine.
One that’ll be worth the telling.
Who shall grab me from that
blasted balcony and be done with it.
His words so perfectly crafted that
I am often at a loss and this speechlessness
would be the best silence in the world.
And will smile ever so subtly
As I speak endlessly
And passionately
Of stars and seas and roads,
Of the leaves of a books, of the eyes of cats,
Of trees and the smell of freshly mown grass;
Of everything and everyone I love
And will make me believe
Truly believe in
A love like Arwen and Aragorn’s
And will love every part of me,
Especially the flaws.
This person that simply makes me
Happy, really happy,
dancing on air happy
And when he does,
come along that is.
My greatest hope is that
I find the courage to follow my heart

Twas inspired by the Age of Adaline, in the beginning it was merely a one verse thing. Then somehow, this happened.
