To bear the temper and rage--
the lion inside the cage,
the constant burning flame
“A bit dramatic,” I proclaim

Or suffer through frostbite--
colder than the coldest night
Dodging each ice shard thrown
Seems like the Artic Zone

They say that playing with fire
is like soaking an electric wire
But I love the thrill and fun
Not remembering how it all begun

Even though I’m frequently shut out
There is no doubt
that you will thaw eventually
And our “bond” will grow exponentially

“From what I’ve tasted of desire”*
the best choice seems like fire
but I’d rather die twice
than live a life without ice

* quote from Robert Frost’s poem “Fire and Ice”
