I Was Wrong
I don’t know how it all started,
I don’t know how it all began,
All I know now is that I have started a journey
With the wonderful people who got me here
The people who have been with me through thick and thin
Wondering if I will ever win,
Loving, caring and striving for these people
If only I could ever be forgiven
If only I could have it all
Then all would be found
And nothing would be lost
All I want is to have a family again
And then I would be happy
Being with your loved ones is the best feeling of all
Having the faith,
The courage
And hope to carry on
Realising that nothing was lost,
All it was, was my conscience,
The truth behind my fairy-tale
The fear told in my story
It was all a lie
And now I may be forgiven
But was I right
Was I really wrong?
Many questions and such little answers
But now I know I will never trust my conscience again.
NEVER!

My poem is about the struggles and soubt people face when listening to their own conscience.
