Just a normal day it was in Boston
All the hum buzz of the suits and skirt
the happiness, the joy, the crashing, the burn
burn, burn of the stars in the heavens
a bright light hoping to make amends
with the twilight which stands so solemn.
Smiles are everywhere, but all they are is a mask people wear to cover animosity,
all clocked in a veiled of generosity
just with hopes to conceal the etrocity.
Today though, I sat by a pool
not feeling so blue, a ray of sunlight
on my day showing hope, hope to love,
live and pursue my happiness.
Today was just a normal day
and tomorrow will be the same as
the moon goes away.
